My name is Elise - a Vancouver Island runner obsessed with turning my passion for the sport into a career. I'm also a digital storyteller and community engagement lead, helping brands build authentic connections with their communities both online and in person.

December 7, 2025: Sips and Summits Trail Run - Arc’teryx Park Royal, collab with Morgan Leroy
“What a way to end the year! It was a soggy one, but Morgan and I had a blast guiding 30 runners around Squamish’s Smoke Bluffs then enjoying some festive treats from Fox and Oak and Living Juice. Each participant received a goodie bag with an Arc’teryx toque and snacks from Smart Sweets. Shout-out Fili Space and Inform Imaging for the generous draw prizes.”
November 3-8, 2025: Girls in Sport Week - Nanaimo United FC
“A true celebration of youth soccer, Girls in Sport week was an opportunity for Nanaimo’s soccer playing ladies to get together and get excited about participating in sport. The week of events included a sports nutrition workshop led by Team Canada runner Kiana Gibson, sports bra sessions by Brooks Running and Lululemon, period-proof activewear prizes and talks from Vancouver’s very own Athleticus Research and a grande finale shopping experience at Lululemon Nanaimo.”
June 3, 2025: Arc’teryx BC x Bowen Airbnb Trail Run and Dinner
“Bowen Island knows how to have fun! Despite capping the event at 40, over 50 runners came over from the mainland to go on a trail adventure and picnic with myself, Bowen Airbnb’s fabulous founders and Arc’teryx BC. While we went for an 8km trail run around Kilarney Lake, Thumn’s Dinner Club, Bowen Bites, Earth Plate, Living Juice, Field House Brewing set up a feast for us in a field. It was a night to remember. Our selection of draw prizes was thanks to Arc’teryx BC, Mist Thermal Sanctuary, and Bowen E-Bikes.”
June 10, 2025: Arc’teryx Victoria Backcountry Trail Running Safety Clinic - collab with Clay Webbe
“Part of Arc’teryx’s Lessons from the Mountains campaign, this backcountry trail running safety clinic was the brain child of Clay Webbe. We guided the group around 5km of south island trails and stopped at different locations to discuss the 4 C’s - crisis, comfort, communication and calories. Clay shared his technical knowledge and I pitched in with low-budget safety tips and tricks and noted my favourite gear options. Thank you Power to Be for supporting the event.”
